A social media personality from Dallas has been convicted in Tennessee of conspiracy to commit murder.
35-year-old Ashley Grayson made something of a name for herself online, but she thought a Mississippi woman with a similar online business was interfering with hers.
Prosecutors said she contacted a Tennessee couple to kill not only her competitor but Grayson’s ex-boyfriend and a Texas woman who made critical social media posts about her online presence. The couple she tried to hire recorded a call with Grayson, who offered $60,000 to kill the three people, plus a bonus if done quickly.
On Oct. 31st, she was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison where there is no parole.
