Dallas nonprofit hosts annual store to help families with holiday gift-giving

Next week is Thanksgiving and before we know it, it will be Christmas.

This year, Interfaith Family Services will host its annual Christmas stores where mothers and their children can get gifts for one another.

Interfaith Family Services is an East Dallas nonprofit that empowers families vulnerable to homelessness and helps break the cycle of poverty.

Kimberly Williams, CEO of Interfaith Family Services, joined KRLD to invite listeners to donate items off of their Amazon wishlist for the Christmas Store.

This year, the Christmas Store is taking place Dec. 3-5 from 6-8 p.m.

Interfaith parents and children will be able to select gifts for family members from the store, as Interfaith focuses on providing a dignified experience for its clients.

The annual Christmas store is a cornerstone of the nonprofit’s mission, providing gifts for current clients of Interfaith or who have recently graduated from their programs.

Donations should be received by Saturday, Nov. 30. Visit their website, interfaithdallas.org, to donate today!
