Officers shot and injured woman who was shooting gun in backyard in North Texas, police say

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Officers shot a woman who was shooting a gun in a backyard in Grand Prairie and allegedly fired toward them early Thursday morning, police officials said.

Police were called to a home in the 4600 block of Yellowleaf Drive shortly before 1 a.m. about a woman firing a gun in a backyard, according to a press release.
