ALLEN, Texas — A man was killed Friday night after being hit by an oncoming SUV in Allen, police say.
Officers were called to the incident at about 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of East Stacy Road. Officials say the victim, 40-year-old Kenneth Jackson of Melissa, had been leaving a business at 711 E. Stacy Road and walking southbound.
As he tried to cross Stacy Road, police say he failed to yield the right of way and stepped into eastbound lanes of traffic, where a dark-color SUV struck him near the front left headlight and hood area…
