Texas Murder Suspect On The Run After Removing Ankle Monitor

Police in Texas are searching for a murder suspect and the search area is widening according to authorities.

Trevor McEuen is a man wanted for murder in North Texas who authorities say removed his ankle monitor on Monday morning and is now missing. Police in Van Zandt County began the search Monday morning, but this afternoon they believe he is no longer in the area.

The Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Department searched for McEuen on Monday morning in the of U.S. 80 east of Grand Saline but have not found him. McEuen was reportedly due in court today with his trial starting according to WFAA in Dallas.

According to WFAA , McEuen is accused of shooting and killing Aaron Martinez in Kaufman County. Martinez was shot to death in his truck and the truck was “riddled with bullets”.

WFAA reports that McEuen removed his ankle monitor and now has an active warrant in Kaufman County for bail revocation for capital murder. He reportedly removed the monitor and fled his house shortly after 5:30 a.m. Officials do not know what he is wearing or if he is on foot or traveling in a vehicle…
