Dallas police officer arrested on tampering with evidence charge, department says

DALLAS — A Dallas police officer has been arrested and charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, the department said in a press release Wednesday.

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said Sr. Cpl. Joseph Robeson turned himself in to the Richardson Police Department on Wednesday. Robeson has been with DPD since June 2009 and is assigned to the Community Engagement and Operations Bureau.

Robeson is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs administrative investigation, DPD said…
