On May 9, 2025, at about 6 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 11600 block of Audelia Road. The preliminary investigation determined that the suspect, whose identity has not been confirmed, shot the victim before dying from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to the hospital where they died. The suspect and victim were known to one another. This ongoing investigation is documented under case numbers 065302-2025 and 065473-2025.
