Lewisville Invites Residents to Explore Local Gems with Spring Centennial Passport Program

Lewisville residents, you’ve got three weeks left to immerse yourself in the community with the Spring Centennial Passport program. This initiative is part of the wide array of activities commemorating the city’s 100th year, welcoming you to experience the local culture through a curated exploration of 44 noteworthy locales within the city’s embrace. As reported by the City of Lewisville, participants who check in at 20 designated “Stops” are eligible for a Spring prize pack, generously provided by local businesses and city departments.

Aiming to incentivize discovery, the program requires a quick digital check-in at each stop using the VisitLewisvilleTX app, available for Apple and Android users. The app presents challenges that guide locals to each stop, being an essential tool for those eager to join the Passport program. Participants indulging in the Sounds of Lewisville concert series or the Centennial Picnic, setting dancing and dining the day away on Saturday at Memorial Park, will find that each event counts as a “stop” on their journey. Every check-in unlocks potential deals, discounts, and a chance to win prizes, amounting to more an adventure than a mere to-do list.

Completing the program’s challenges, which involve smartphone check-ins at the chosen “Spots”, does more than put you in the running for the main prize pack. As stated on the city’s official site, all participants who finish the quest are promised a Passport prize pack, a tangible token of the city’s appreciation for their engagement and exploration. However, these hard-earned rewards need to be picked up in person at the Visitor Information Center, necessitated by the logistics of distribution and the value of a face-to-face thank you…
