On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina will keep cooking, thanks to a Houston-based restaurant group.
It was announced last week that Pappas Restaurants had won the bidding war for Dallas-based On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March, citing labor shortages and other economical challenges. A Pappas affiliate paid millions to help finance the bankruptcy filing, Houston Public Media reported, citing court records.
The purchase is subject to court approval, and it’s expected to be finalized in the coming weeks…
