Gateway Church, the Dallas-area megachurch founded by accused child molester Robert Morris, has rejected the disgraced pastor’s claims for millions in retirement benefits, a May 13 court filing revealed.
The church also wants the court to block Morris’ demand for binding arbitration of his benefits claims.
Morris, 63, resigned as Gateway’s senior pastor in 2024, after reports surfaced that he had molested a 12-year-old girl in 1982 while a traveling evangelist in Oklahoma. A multi-county grand jury there indicted Morris on five felony counts in March. He faces trial later this year…
