VIDEO: Man arrested in Crockett after attempting to flee from police multiple times

CROCKETT, Texas (KETK)- A man who had been wanted on multiple charges in Houston and Dallas Counties was arrested on Sunday evening by officers from the Crockett Police Department after attempting to flee the scene

After receiving information about Robert Ray Hickman, officers arrived at a home on West Austin Street where he was believed to be staying. Once officers arrived at the scene, Hickman fled from the home out of the back door, causing authorities to temporarily lose sight of him, according to Crockett PD.

Hickman was eventually found on Wooten Street and attempted to flee the scene again but was quickly detained. Hickman was later taken into custody without incident.

Following his arrest, Hickman was charged with evading arrest along with his five active misdemeanor warrants, according to officials…
