DALLAS — For the second time in just six months, an inclusive ice cream shop in North Dallas, Howdy Homemade Ice Cream, was burglarized.
Around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, the owner said someone smashed through the front door, grabbing the employees’ tip jar and the store’s safe.
“Gosh, we’re telling them this is a safe world, and then they see something like this happen firsthand,” Owner Tom Landis said. “I think there are intangible ramifications from it, but I also know there is a special sense of resiliency among the community of those with special needs.”…
