The Dallas Police Department’s Violent Crime Reduction Plan consistently delivers excellent results, most recently with the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of multiple guns, money, and drugs.
Dallas Police detectives began a narcotics investigation in September 2024, in the 4900 block of East Side Avenue. This extensive investigation led to the execution of a search warrant and the discovery of narcotics and evidence for additional investigations. In March 2025, PNI detectives connected the East Side Avenue investigation to locations in the 4900 block of Terry Street and 8500 block of Park Lane being used to store and sell narcotics. Officers executed a search warrant at the Terry Street location, which uncovered multiple firearms, drugs packaged for distribution, and other evidence of illegal drug paraphernalia. A second search warrant was executed at the Park Lane location, which resulted in the confiscation of various narcotics packaged for distribution and a handgun.
These extensive investigations led to the following arrests:
- 32-year-old Christopher Springfield – four counts of first-degree felony Manufacture / Delivery of a Controlled Substance and one count of second-degree felony Manufacture / Delivery of a Controlled Substance
- 31-year-old Saray Portillo – Tampering with or Fabricating Evidence, a third-degree felony
- 40-year-old Jamie Solorzano – two counts of Manufacture / Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a third-degree felony
Dallas Police ultimately recovered drug paraphernalia and five firearms, along with 408.9 grams of cocaine, 263.8 grams of methamphetamine, 21.6 grams of fentanyl, 5.8 grams of oxycodone, 1.5 grams of heroin, and 43.8 grams of marijuana, as well as multiple cell phones and $7,171 in U.S. currency…
