On June 20, 2025, at about 12:40 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2600 block of Main Street. The preliminary investigation determined that 19-year-old David Stribling had been shot at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital, where he died. The case will be referred to a Grand Jury.
