On July 1, 2025, at about 3:50 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3600 block of west Camp Wisdom Road. The preliminary investigation determined that a 43-year-old Rashonda Lowe shot a man, later identified as 53-year-old Jaime Rokkett. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, where Rokkett died. Lowe turned herself into Arlington Police and was then taken into custody by Dallas PD officers. She was arrested and charged with Murder and placed in the Dallas County Jail. This ongoing investigation is documented under case number 093451-2025.
