Police recover $1.5M in luxury cars in Dallas theft ring raid

Newly obtained video shows local and federal agents executing a search warrant on an alleged luxury car theft ring in Dallas, recovering a trove of premium cars valued at $1.5 million.

The raid on two homes in Pleasant Grove on June 11 was the culmination of a multi-agency investigation into the theft of multiple high-end vehicles in Dallas, Grapevine and Plano, according to Plano police Detective Jerry Minton.

Minton said Plano PD was not aware the Dallas Police Department, Texas DPS and the FBI were hot on the trail of a trio of suspected car thieves until Plano officers responded to a brazen theft on June 6, when a 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre was stolen from a restaurant’s valet stall…
