Dallas police operation leads to 99 arrests in June

DALLAS, Texas — The Dallas Police Department, in collaboration with the United States Marshals Service, has announced the successful apprehension of 99 fugitives during June 2025 as part of Police Chief Daniel C. Comeaux’s Operation Justice Trail.

This initiative aims to enhance public safety by targeting individuals with violent felony warrants.

Chief Comeaux emphasized the importance of this coordinated effort, stating, “Our goal is simple: to make Dallas the safest large city in America.” He noted that a small percentage of violent criminals are responsible for a significant amount of crime, and by focusing on these individuals, the department is sending a clear message that violence will not be tolerated in Dallas.
