Dallas to spray for West Nile Virus after positive mosquito tests

DALLAS, Texas — Mosquito samples in Dallas have tested positive for the West Nile Virus, prompting scheduled mosquito control spraying in specific areas. Weather permitting, the spraying will occur between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Wednesday, July 9 to Thursday, July 10.The first control area is within the 9000 block of Vista Creek Drive (75243) in Council District 10, bounded by Skyline Drive to the north, Boundbrook Avenue to the west, Echo Valley Drive to the east, and Royal Lane to the south.
