Lyft Driver and Passenger Killed After TRE Train Strikes Vehicle in Dallas

DALLAS, TX — A collision between a Trinity Railway Express (TRE) train and a vehicle on Wednesday morning, July 9, 2025, resulted in the deaths of two people at the intersection of Market Center Boulevard and Harry Hines Boulevard.

Dallas Fire-Rescue and DART Police responded to the scene around 9:15 a.m. Officials say a TRE train struck the driver’s side of a vehicle that was on the tracks.
