On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the Dallas Police Department arrested 31-year-old Trakari Brown in connection with a series of domestic violence incidents involving two separate victims. Brown now faces multiple felony charges, including Continuous Violence Against the Family and Stalking.
The investigation began in June 2025, when a victim contacted the Dallas Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit to report being repeatedly stalked by Brown. The victim stated that Brown, with whom they had a known prior relationship, had followed them on several occasions. During one of these encounters, Brown allegedly struck the victim with a brick. The case was assigned to detectives, who soon learned that a separate law enforcement agency in the Dallas area was also actively investigating Brown for similar acts of domestic violence involving the same victim.
On July 1 at approximately 12:00 a.m., Dallas police received another report involving Brown. In this case, Brown allegedly forced his way into a different victim’s residence by kicking in the front door. Once inside, Brown reportedly assaulted the victim, hitting them multiple times, and causing property damage during the altercation.
