A Dallas man, Trakari Brown, age 31, finds himself behind bars after being taken into custody for a string of violent offenses against family members. According to the Dallas Police Department, the arrest happened on July 1, when units from the Domestic Violence, Central CRT/Deployment, and Fugitive divisions collaborated to bring Brown to justice after a series of reported incidents. Brown now faces charges of Continuous Violence Against the Family and Stalking, both classified as third-degree felonies.
The situation escalated from previously reported stalking occurrences in June 2025, where Brown allegedly used a brick to assault the reported victim, with whom he had a personal connection. The incident prompted further scrutiny by local authorities. After these events, another victim emerged, this time the brutality involved Brown, armed with a handgun, forcing entry into the individual’s residence, leading to physical violence, property damage, and the theft of personal items like a wallet and car keys, before fleeing in the victim’s car.
