According to a social media post by the Mesquite Police Department, two juvenile males were found with gunshot wounds at a residence on the 1500 block of Rusk Drive. The call was reported at approximately 12:51 a.m. yesterday, after shots were heard by an adult in the home. The department’s news release states the tragic outcome: a 16-year-old boy, who lived at the address, was pronounced dead, while a 15-year-old remains in critical condition in the hospital.
