As companies optimize their infrastructure or shut down operations completely in Texas, another mass layoff wave is hitting the Lone Star State. This time, folks will feel it from San Antonio to Dallas.
North Texas has been hit the hardest over the past year or so when it comes to layoff notices. Though, it’s not surprising considering the size of the city and the number of corporations operating fulfillment centers and production sites in the area.
In the latest, UPS and CarOffer – an online used car trading site – layoffs could leave 163 Texans joining the unemployment line, though the mail carrier is making efforts to reduce their share of job cuts.
