DALLAS, TX – On July 23, Central Business District (CBD) officers with the Dallas Police Department conducted a joint external theft blitz in the 1400 block of Main Street, resulting in six arrests within just four hours.
This marks the fourth such blitz since November 2024, bringing the total to more than 30 arrests in targeted operations designed to deter theft and improve safety downtown.
In a separate incident on August 27, officers responded to multiple shoplifting calls. In one case, a suspect reportedly threatened store associates. Officers arrived within minutes and quickly addressed the situation.
