Walmart shoppers in Southern Dallas can now have their groceries dropped out of the sky.
The retailer has rolled out drone delivery service from its Supercenter on Samuell Boulevard, partnering with California-based Zipline to bring orders of up to five and a half pounds straight to customers’ doorsteps in about 30 minutes.
It’s the first time drone grocery delivery has been available in Southern Dallas, and the site becomes the seventh Walmart in North Texas to launch the program. Other locations already offering the service include Mesquite, Weatherford, Waxahachie, Kaufman, Greenville, and Bedford…
