GARLAND (KDAF) — Garland is putting itself on the map in a big way, featuring a hat even larger than Big Tex’s.
On Sept. 27 at 12 p.m., the City of Garland will unveil its newest landmark: The Big Hat, a 20-foot-wide, Texas-sized installation honoring the city’s title as the Cowboy Hat Capital of Texas. The installation will now be the biggest hat in Texas.
