DALLAS, Texas—A routine traffic stop by the Dallas Police Department’s Southwest Crime Response Team (CRT)/Deployment officers led to the arrest of an alleged drug dealer and the seizure of illegal narcotics and a handgun.
On September 25, 2025, CRT officers located and arrested Ricardo Cabriales, 35, who was wanted for the aggravated robbery of a business that occurred on September 7 in the 2300 block of West Illinois Avenue. Cabriales was charged with Aggravated Robbery of a Business.
Following that arrest, officers obtained intelligence about a drug dealer operating in the area, identified as Edgar Cayetano, 37, who was known to have an active warrant for probation violation.
