Dallas, TX – The Dallas Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit, in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force, swiftly arrested 28-year-old Darius Hinton following a domestic violence investigation.
Investigators determined that Hinton had taken a gun from the victim without permission and struck them in the face with it. Within a day, officers apprehended Hinton and removed a dangerous offender from the streets.
Hinton faces charges of Theft of a Firearm, a state jail felony, and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Family Violence, a second-degree felony. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants for violation of supervised release…
