North Central Crime Response Team arrest Retail Theft Suspects

On October 10, 2025, at 11:45 a.m., the Dallas Police Central Investigative Unit notified the North Central Crime Response Team of a known retail theft crew who had committed an offense in the 6400 block of E. Mockingbird Lane and left the scene heading northbound on Abrams. After being notified, the North Central Crime Response Team responded to the crew’s next possible offense location, Preston Road and Royal Lane, and waited for them. The Crime Response Team saw the suspect vehicle pull into the location, stopped it, and arrested three juvenile suspects and the driver, 22-year-old Zakerra Jackson. All of the suspects were charged with Theft of Property >$2,500 or <$30,000. Jackson was additionally charged for outstanding warrants out of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.

The North Central Crime Response Team recovered more than $21,000 worth of stolen products at the scene and returned the products to the owner.
