Dallas Area Rapid Transit will celebrate the opening of its Silver Line rail on Saturday, Oct. 25, with 10 community events and ribbon cuttings. From Plano to Dallas-Fort Woth International Airport, the day will be filled with celebrations and a free evening concert.
After six years of construction and months of testing, the 26-mile line will connect seven North Texas cities and strengthen connections to jobs, schools and communities across the region.
The rail line crosses Dallas, Denton and Collin counties, passing through Grapevine, Coppell, Dallas, Carrollton, Addison, Richardson and Plano, with two final connections at DFW Airport…
