Prosecutor, defense attorney charged after mishandling Dallas health care fraud case

DALLAS — A federal health care fraud case in Dallas collapsed after prosecutors admitted serious misconduct — including the destruction of court-ordered evidence — and the use of a confidential informant within the defense team’s inner circle.
