Snider Plaza is in the middle of a glow-up, which can come with some pain (right? We hear). The shopping center, originally built in the ’20s is redoing the drains and parking lot. Either way, the old shopping center next to SMU campus is thriving with both the old — Kuby’s Sausage, Bubba’s and Burger House — and new.
New Eats at Snider Plaza
We recently wrote an article titled “Crepe Expectations” about a new creperie at Snider Plaza. The Parisian-inspired spot, which serves dozens of crepes, has a huge patio that will be lovely once the parking lot construction is done.
There’s also the new enchilada and fajita spot El Molino from Vandelay Hospitality, which also owns Hudson House, DL Mack’s and Drake’s Hollywood. We haven’t tried this yet, but we are fascinated that the menu is the same as Joe T. Garcia’s in Fort Worth, one of the most overrated restaurants in North Texas. We hope this is a grandiloquent clap back. Praise be.
