Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s long-awaited Silver Line opens to riders tomorrow, linking seven North Texas cities and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport for the first time by rail.
The 26-mile commuter route runs from Plano to DFW Airport with stops in Richardson, Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Dallas. DART officials say the new line is designed to make regional travel faster and easier while easing congestion on major highways.
