Carrollton, TX – The Carrollton Police Department’s Narcotics Unit has announced the recovery of more than 1,800 grams of illegal drugs and several firearms following a targeted narcotics investigation in Farmers Branch. The operation led to one arrest and multiple felony charges as authorities continue their efforts to curb drug trafficking in the area.
The Incident: Major Drug and Firearms Seizure
According to police, the Carrollton Narcotics Unit concluded a lengthy investigation on Wednesday, October 8, that uncovered the promotion and sale of illegal drugs being distributed to Carrollton residents. Acting on intelligence, officers conducted a search warrant at a residence located in the 3000 block of Janlyn Lane in Farmers Branch.
During the raid, investigators seized an extensive quantity of narcotics, including:
- 934 grams of cocaine
- 622 grams of THC products
- 280 grams of marijuana
- Multiple firearms
Authorities said one suspect was taken into custody and now faces felony drug and weapons charges.
