Irving, TX, October 25, 2025: A roadside demonstration by masked men near the intersection of a major thoroughfare in Irving on October 24 has raised concerns among Hindu and Indian American communities about escalating racial and religious tensions. The protest, publicly posted by Take Action Texas on X (formerly Twitter), targeted what the group described as “recent ‘Diwali’ garbage” and linked demographic changes in the city to labor imports from India via the H‑1B visa program.
