Arrest made in deadly shooting in Southeast Dallas, police say

DALLAS — A 42-year-old man charged with murder has turned himself in to the U.S. Marshal’s office, Dallas police say.

On October 26, Dallas Police responded to the area of Elam Road and North Jim Miller Road around 6 p.m. to reports of a shooting. Montray Bynum is accused of killing 41-year-old Steven Baisy, according to authorities.

During DPD’s investigation, it was determined that Baisy was shot by a known suspect, police say, and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead…
