MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) – Five people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a Marshall man in late October, according to the Marshall Police Department.
Friday, the MPD announced that Corey Dewayne Wilbert, Jr., 21, of Arlington, Demetreus Demond Hooper, 45, of Jeremy Demon Williams, 38, Trevian Dwight Leary, 28, Jada Shakera Hooker, 24, all of Marshall were arrested for the shooting death of Carlos Dewayne Hill, 48, of Marshall.
According to the MPD, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1900 block of Bean Street around 8:56 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim, identified as Carlos Dewayne Hill, 48, of Marshall, who was deceased at the scene. The suspects had fled before officers arrived…
