FedEx to shut North Texas facility, laying off 856 workers

FedEx Supply Chain Logistics & Electronics, Inc. is closing its logistics campus in Coppell, Texas by late April 2026, a move that will eliminate 856 jobs, the company announced in a formal notice to the state.

The shutdown stems from a major customer’s decision to shift its business to another third-party provider, prompting FedEx to wind down operations at the facility located at 840 W. Sandy Lake Road.
