On December 1, 2025, Dallas Police Chief Comeaux terminated two officers after disciplinary hearings. Police Officer Trainee III Adrian Alcorta, from the Southeast Division, was dismissed following his arrest on a family violence assault charge. Alcorta joined the department in April 2023.
Police Officer Scott Simpson, from the Central Division, was also dismissed. He was found to have released body camera footage without authorization and used a confidential investigative platform improperly. Simpson had served since November 2019.
