DALLAS — Dallas developer and owner of the soon-to-be-former Greyhound Bus station, Ray Washburne, said he’s pitched the site as a potential Dallas Police substation or a FIFA World Cup ticketing office, but has not yet worked out a deal with either entity.
The site, which Greyhound’s owner announced Monday will see its last bus leave on Dec. 8, could also be a possible site for Dallas College as it eyes a newly announced expansion, Washburne said.
“Hopefully we’re going to pitch this in as one of the projects or pieces of property that can be a part of that,” he told WFAA Monday evening. “But I would like to see it at least on a temporary basis be a Dallas Police Department substation.”…
