On December 6, 2025, at about 9:55 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2900 block of W. Wheatland Road.
The preliminary investigation determined five people were shot at the location. Joseph Premeaux, 33, was taken to a local hospital where he died. Another person is in critical condition, and the three others are in stable condition.
