Dallas police arrested a woman early Friday morning for stabbing a firehose while Dallas firefighters were responding to a house fire, according to Dallas Fire officials.
The blaze started just before 1 a.m. at a house on Prosperity Avenue in South Dallas. Investigators determined that someone used an unknown heat source to ignite combustibles in a corner room in the front of the house. The fire was declared extinguished at 1:35 a.m. according to officials.
While Dallas Fire Rescue (DFR) was extinguishing the fire, Jermecia Denise Murphy, a 37-year-old woman from Dallas, allegedly took a knife to one of the fire hoses in an attempt to prevent their efforts…
