CARROLLTON, Texas — Beloved Texas grocery store chain H-E-B’s plans for a new store in another North Texas city recently took a step forward.
A new H-E-B store could be coming to a 17.2-acre property at the corner of Parker Road and Josey Lane in Carrollton, according to Carrollton’s Planning and Zoning Commission. The bustling corner is already home to a RaceTrac and a McDonald’s.
In addition to a retail store, plans for the site also include a gas station and car wash, according to filings with the commission. The Planning and Zoning Commission Dec. 4 voted to recommend approval of a zoning change for the property to allow for the new store, moving it on to the full city council.
