In the early morning hours of December 7, 2025, Irving Police officers responded to a disturbance call at the Stonehill Terrace Apartments in the 3200 block of West Northgate Drive, across from Jackie Mae Townsell Elementary School.
Dispatch information indicated that a male inside the apartment had threatened someone with a knife. When officers arrived around 4:12 a.m., they made contact with the victim, identified as Osman A. Reynoza-Munguia, and a witness, Kessller Jhoan Vega-Mayorga.
According to Reynoza-Munguia, he was inside the apartment with his cousin and roommate, 22-year-old Isaac Salvador Lopez-Briceño, when Lopez-Briceño became angry. Reynoza-Munguia told officers that Lopez-Briceño pulled a knife from his waistband, walked toward him, and swung the knife in his direction.
