On December 6, 2025, at approximately 5:08 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for service in the 7700 block of Forest Lane. The preliminary investigation determined that a 15-year-old juvenile was transported by private vehicle to a hospital after being shot by an unknown suspect near in the 2500 block of Canada Drive. On December 13, the juvenile died, and the offense was reclassified to a homicide. This investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 174420-2025.
