The longtime Boston Market at 2705 N Belt Line Road is now fully demolished, and the site is actively transitioning toward redevelopment. What was once a shuttered Boston Market pad has been cleared in preparation for a new Pollo Campero restaurant.
Official filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show that demolition has been completed and that ground-up construction of a single-story, 2,597 sq ft Pollo Campero is slated to begin. Construction is scheduled to run from August 2025 through February 2026. The project is privately funded and replaces the former Boston Market structure entirely.
At this point there’s no official public opening date yet, but with the old building gone, the transition to Pollo Campero is clearly underway.
Looking at historic aerial images, the building appears sometime in the 1980s. No other major development on the site can be seen going back to 1958. In those days, the Belt Line Road was a two-way rural road. The now-closed Boston Market building is located next to an old Chick-fil-A location, which moved further south to the Irving Mall parking lot.
