A late-night encounter at a South Dallas DART station turned deadly Thursday after a brief verbal exchange on the platform ended with one man shot in the chest and an 18-year-old now in custody on a murder charge, according to police records.
The shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. on the platform at the 8th and Corinth DART station, one stop before the Dallas Zoo, authorities said. The victim was later identified as 28-year-old Erin LaJames Graham, and the suspect as 18-year-old Demetrius Rogers.
