Private equity giant Blackstone Inc. has bought a North Side retail center anchored by an H-E-B Plus as part of a $440 million deal to beef up its Texas portfolio.
The New York-based firm purchased the Village at Blanco retail center, located off Loop 1604 and Blanco Road, on Dec. 12, according to property records.
Blackstone, one of the world’s largest private equity firms, is acquiring a portfolio of grocery-anchored shopping centers in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, as first reported by Bloomberg.
