Irving Teen Vanishes Near Las Colinas, Cops Urge Neighbors To Check Cameras

Irving police are asking residents to speak up and check their cameras as they search for 15‑year‑old Cameron Matar, who was reported missing yesterday after appearing on surveillance video near Las Colinas. Footage shows Cameron walking south on O’Connor Road from the Lake Carolyn Parkway intersection around 4 p.m., and officers say he is considered an endangered missing person.

Cameron is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he has been diagnosed with high‑functioning autism. He was last reported wearing a blue jacket, possibly a black shirt underneath, and red basketball shorts.

What Police Have Released

According to the Irving Police Department, the case is logged as number 26‑99, and an endangered missing person alert is being activated with the Texas Department of Public Safety to widen the search. The department’s release confirms Cameron’s clothing and physical description, along with the time and location where he was last seen on video.
