The Frisco Police Department is the newest North Texas agency to implement the “grappler” pursuit-prevention tool on its patrol cars, according to a Facebook post from the department.
Designed by Leonard Stock of Grappler Police Bumper, the grappler pursuit prevention tool deploys a heavy-duty net from the front of a police car, which wraps around the rear wheel of a fleeing vehicle.
